About Me

My name is Chad Van Horn and I am a photographer and videographer based in the Coachella Valley in Southern California. I grew up in Palm Springs, where I developed a love for skateboarding at a young age. After graduating from Palm Springs High School in 2009, I decided to join the army as an infantryman. In 2011, I deployed to Afghanistan for 12 months. During my time there I filmed and edited my first video. After returning from war and leaving the army in 2015, I struggled adjusting back into civilian life.

Despite these challenges, I remained determined to turn my passion for visual storytelling into a career. In 2017, I enrolled in film school in Los Angeles and graduated with an associates degree in 2019. Since then, I have been working as a full-time photographer and videographer, with my work being published in various publications. I am dedicated to creating visually stunning and emotionally impactful content for businesses, individuals, and organizations. Thank you for considering me for your photography and videography needs.
